The "CHALLENGE" Heavy Type Portable Highway Combined Drying and Mixing Unit is a robust and highly efficient mobile hot mix plant designed for road construction and maintenance, offering a flexible output capacity of 8 to 12 Tons Per Hour (TPH). • Enhanced Mixing Quality: A dedicated Exhaust Fan system is included to effectively separate unwanted compounds and moisture from the heated stone. This crucial step ensures better aggregate-bitumen adhesion, resulting in a higher quality mix with potentially less bitumen consumption.
• Durable Construction: The heavy-duty drying and mixing drum is constructed from a robust 5.2 mm plate, ensuring longevity and resistance to wear under continuous operation.
• Reliable Power & Drive: Powered by a suitable diesel engine and featuring a 12 Volt Exide Battery. The drive system incorporates a Centrifugal Clutch, which ensures a smooth, uniform rotation of the drum and, importantly, allows the engine to start and run free of load, significantly increasing engine life and efficiency.
• Portable & Quick Setup: The entire unit is mounted on 4 heavy-type pneumatic tyres with a drawbar for easy towing. Four robust jacks are provided for stable, quick, and easy installation on any job site.
